Smart Suggestions, Timeline View, and Model Picker
Kairo now surfaces personalized suggestion chips based on your calendar, unread messages, recent files, and past conversations. Tasks get a full timeline view for visualizing schedules at a glance. Plus a new model picker, image lightbox, and smarter memory.
What’s changed
New
Kairo shows personalized smart suggestions drawn from your calendar, unread messages, recent files, and past conversations
New Timeline view for taskboards — a Gantt-style chart with day, week, and month zoom, drag-to-pan, and a today indicator
Updated model picker lets you switch Kairo’s model on the fly. Press ⌘/ to open it, arrow keys to browse, and F to favorite a model
Click any image in a conversation, task, or file attachment to open a full-screen lightbox preview
Kairo can now attach images from your conversation directly into tasks it creates or updates
Improved
Kairo’s memory extraction is smarter — it focuses on genuine personal preferences and project facts, filtering out generic knowledge and one-off requests
Memory managment is redesigned for a nicer UX.
Suggestion chips adapt over time based on which ones you actually click and use
Command palette destinations reordered to put your most-used areas first
Keyboard shortcuts reorganized — ⌘/ opens the model picker, ⇧⌘/ opens the shortcuts reference
Fixed
Fixed unread counts in direct messages showing stale numbers for recently added members
Fixed some bugs in task details.
